I'm a PhD student with Professors Adelson and Rosenholtz; my work primarily falls into two large subdivisions of middle vision: perceptual organization and shape analysis and representation. I attempt to model these tasks using computational algorithms, with emphasis on the nature of the visual system as an image-processing system (rather than a more computationally classic object-oriented system).
