Her current research program focuses on the representation of visual complexity and visual simplicity; the representation of scene spatial envelope and spatial layout; the relations between image statistic descriptors and the conceptual representation of scenes and objects; the mechanisms of scene recognition in brief glances as well as mechanisms of attentional and eye movements deployment in complex scenes.
